Inphinity has released a new object, the Inphinity Forms Planning extension, an editable pivot table that is ideal for use case planning thanks to automatic top-down and bottom-up calculations.
When you update the data, all those totals are updated automatically. This is what is called bottom-up planning. It also works the other way around, so when you update the Total, all related values are updated automatically, based on the distribution function. This is called top-down planning.
As always, Inphinity Forms extensions can be found in the custom object section, in the Inphinity bundle subsection.
Forms Planning as all the other extensions is Qlik™ native. That means it works and behaves the same way as any Qlik™ objects you know, so, it’s very intuitive not only for end users but also for developers.
